Sporeworks is eight original encounters between living fungi and copper machinery. A root system cracks a reactor, a mushroom takes over a broadcast tower, an explorer descends into an immense gill chamber, a robotic hand fails to catch flying spores, a glasshouse breaks open, a beetle carries a pilot through the wastes, a cap-sailed skiff races across salt flats, and a keeper shields one last specimen.
